The IFMA-EMF U23 & Youth European Championships are the top-level continental event for youths and adult athletes Under 23 years to compete among the best burgeoning talent among the European nak muay.
This year's event will see them converge in Ankara, Turkiye for high-octane fuelled fury over 2 competition rings on the Field of Play.

RULES & REGULATIONS
Each child will get at least 1 bout.
Some may get 2 to ensure another child gets at least 1.
Head contact is prohibited for all ages in the 0-3 experience divisions
Head contact is prohibited for ages 6-13 in the 4+ experience divisions.
Head contact is permitted for ages 14-17 in the 4+ experience divisions
(No head kicks).
Elbows to the head or body are prohibited for all divisions.
Knees to the head are prohibited for all divisions.
Illegal Strikes: If an athlete receives multiple warnings for illegal strikes of fails to listen to the officials commands, they will be disqualified and the bout will be stopped. We will do our best to get the non offending athlete another match before the day ends.
Requirements: Mongkol, Muaythai Shorts, Boxing Gloves, Hand Wraps, Shin Guards (no cloth slips ons, must be training style), Head Gear, Chest Protectors.
You must bring all of your own gear except for chest protectors, we will provide them. Below is a list of size requirements for gloves.

WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS
If you have to withdraw from the event please do so as soon as possible. If you do not withdraw and do not show up, you can possibly prevent a child from having a matchup.
USA Muaythai Membership Fees are non-refundable.
Event registration fees are refundable until 4/17/2023. Any withdrawals after 4/17/2023 or no shows will not be refunded.
It is with pleasure to announce the 2023 IFMA Senior World Championships to be held from 3-13 May 2023 in Bangkok, THA. This year’s event brings us back to the motherland to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the International Federation of Muaythai Associations. We are excited to bring the IFMA Family together where it all began with IFMA’s establishment in 1993, to commemorate the journey our organisation has taken so far, and look towards the bright future of our sport.
The 2023 IFMA Senior World Championships are allocated as the final direct qualifier in the qualification event series towards the 2023 World Combat Games, and all gold and silver medallists in the combat disciplines will qualify for a spot to compete in Riyadh this October. All gold medallists in the Wai Kru and Mai Muay divisions will also qualify for a spot to compete at the World Combat Games.
USA MUAYTHAI YOUTH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2023
We are proud to announce the first ever Elite level Youth National Championships. This years national tournament will be in Hammond, Indiana from June 7th 2023 - June 10th 2023. The winners will be selected to represent Team USA in the IFMA Youth World Championships. The IFMA Youth World Championships will be held in Belek, Turkey from September 30th 2023 - October 8th 2023

Acceptance to this tournament will be based on a criteria.

If you register and do not meet the criteria, you will be removed from the tournament and refunded tournament fees only. Membership fees are non-refundable.
Withdrawals will be refunded up to 30 days before check in (5/7/2023). Withdrawals after 5/7/2023 will not be refunded unless there is a valid medical reason. Withdrawal refund will be tournament fees only. Membership fees are non-refundable.

Each individual membership (Coach, Athlete, Official) requires a different email address. The account is based on the email address. If you use the same address the system will consider you the same person and change all of the info to the most recent registration. Example - if you register as a coach then register the athlete with the same email adress it will change the coach reg and profile over to the athletes info.

DIVISIONS & RULES
10 - 11 Year Old - No strikes to the head - 3 Rounds - 1 Minute each
12 - 13 Year Old - No knee or elbow strikes to the head - 3 Rounds - 1.5 Minutes each
14 -15 Year Old - No knee strikes to the head - 3 Rounds - 2 Minutes each
16 - 17 Year Old - No knee strikes to the head - 3 Rounds - 2 Minutes each

CRITERIA
All divisions require athletes to have a minimum of 8 Muaythai fights with a winning record.
Athletes that do not meet the criteria through official sanctioned bouts maybe submit their experience to be reviewed by the Selection Committee. Acceptable experience includes Muaythai Smokers, Muaythai Point Events, Muaythai Scrimmages, and Muaythai Sparring Events.

WEIGH-INS
Please be sure to pick the correct division. Keep in mind, you will be weighing in everyday that you fight. You will have to make weight each morning with no allowance.
